The Consolidated Patient Account Center is the Veteran Administration’s benefit and billing processing center.  This project consisted of remodeling an existing flood damaged office/warehouse building into class A/B offices.

 

The project was designed to meet LEED base certification, utilizing recycled materials, reuse of existing building components, and energy efficient lighting and HVAC systems.

 

As the tenant, the VA had stringent criteria to which the design had to conform.  This was often in conflict with the construction cost budget.  Working closely with the Owner, Tenant, and Contractor, the Architect formulated a sensible, functional, and efficient design that would facilitate the long term lease desired by the Owner.
